Why
a Heritage Arts Center?
Imagine a place where adults and children alike feel welcome to experiment with time-treasured crafts....Imagine being able to stop in at your leisure to practice quilting, spinning, leathercrafts, weaving,
candlemaking....Imagine generations sharing stories, skills, and fellowship in a warm and comfortable
atmosphere....Imagine experts in Folk Art and Folk Life from across the region, the state or
the nation providing instruction, inspiration and encouragement to crafters of all skill levels. For more information go to our Heritage Arts Center webpage.

| Children become excited about what they are learning while they play. |
Imagine a place where children could not only look into the
past, but step into history! Imagine playing with turn-of-the-century toys on the porch
of an old farmhouse. Imagine sitting inside an Arapaho tipi, hearing Native music and
stories while learning beadwork. Imagine learning to plait a rope near a prairie corral, while
listening to sounds of the prairie wind.

For more information see our Children's Museum webpage. If you share our vision, join us on our journey to make it a reality!
